Important Information About How the Town of Lloyd Community Messaging System Works:
The Town of Lloyd uses the Campus Alerts notification system to send important community information by phone call, email, and/or text.
How Email Messages Work:
Email Messages will come from the email address townoflloyd@citynotify.com.
Please whitelist this email in your email address book. Please note that this email box is not monitored. Call the Town of Lloyd Supervisor’s Office if you have any questions.
How Text Messages Work:
Text messages will come to your cellphone from either a short code or toll-free number.
How Phone Call Messages Work:
When you receive a Community Alert phone call and answer it, you will first hear a brief introduction asking you to "Press any key to play the message."
• Press any key on your phone's keypad.
• The system will verify the connection and then begin playing the message for you.
• Please allow the message to finish before hanging up so you receive all the information.
If the Message Doesn't Start Right Away
In some cases (not common), there may be a 3–5 second delay after you press a key before the message begins if cell service or your phone line connections are weak.
If you do not hear the message immediately after pressing a key, please wait a few seconds. The system may simply be establishing the connection before playing the message.
