Appointments are required.
Register online during the open registration period.
Please contact UCRRA to cancel your appointment.

Ulster County residents and residential waste only.
Out-of-county waste or commercially generated waste
is expressly prohibited.

Read all communications carefully.
UCRRA reserves the right to turn away persons for
bringing unauthorized wastes to the events or for any
failure to comply with the program rules.

Keep chemicals in their original, labeled containers.
Contact UCRRA 2 weeks prior to the event to discuss
instructions for any unknown or unlabeled wastes.

Package and transport chemicals with care.
Put all items in the trunk of your vehicle in a large
cardboard box (preferred) or in an unwanted tote bin.
Containers will not be returned. Package all paint
products separate from other chemicals.

Participants must remain in their vehicles.
Drive slow, follow the flow of traffic cones and signs into
designated areas and obey staff directions.
You may experience a short waiting period.

Quantity limits are strictly enforced.
Each household is limited to a maximum 220 pounds or
a 25-gallon equivalent. No containers larger than a 5
gallon bucket allowed. Limit 24 fluorescent lightbulbs.
